Initial Consultation

The goal of your initial meeting with Melanie is to find out if a full autism diagnostic assessment is right for you. During the consultation, Melanie will talk to you about your reasons for wanting to have an autism assessment, and use standardised screening tools to gather important information. Melanie will give detailed feedback after each session, and making reasonable adjustments as needed. For example, you are welcome to bring someone with you to the session, or to split the time up into shorter sessions.
An initial consultation cost £250 and last 90 minutes.

Full Assessment

Quintissimo follow NICE Guidelines for the assessment of autism to ensure a gold standard service. Melanie offers assessment via online meetings, giving detailed feedback and writing official reports so you have all the information you need at the end of the process. A full diagnostic assessment costs £1250. If you choose to go ahead with a full autism diagnostic assessment, the initial consultation fee is taken out of the final price.

As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, I have been working with individuals with autism for over 20 years across the NHS and charities. I also supervise autism research at the University of Southampton with a focus on the lived experiences of autistic adults. I aim to offer a comprehensive, person centred assessment with the individual needs of each client at the heart of the process.
